When asked about the meaning and inspiration behind the song, 4D4M (birth name: Adam Dworak) explained:

“I wanted to capture the feeling of loss – when you try to cut things off but get pulled right back into a relationship. That feeling is visceral, and everyone’s been there. It’s human.

The song’s a slapper. Most listeners will interpret it through their own relationships, and with vocals this catchy, they’ll be singing along, humming, and grooving through the first future bass drop… then getting emotional during the bridge/build… and then-
