Who is 4D4M?
Born Adam Dworak in Chicago, 4D4M emerged from the city’s gritty underground rave scene, where he began producing events that showcased his original techno sets – laying the foundation for a career built on raw energy and sonic innovation.
A lifelong musician, he began composing at age four, earning his first copyright by six. Drawn by the possibilities of synth sounds and mixing, he built his first custom flight-case computer and DJ controller setup at 14. This DIY ethos informed his early exposure to studio design and tech experimentation, including loop creation for Sony Music and consulting on touchscreen DJ interfaces.
Dworak’s creative reach goes beyond music. He is a designer, technologist, and US patent holder, someone who blurs the lines between engineering and artistry. For him, 4D4M is not just a DJ act but a larger vision, bringing future-facing worlds where sound, technology, and culture collide.
In his underground warehouse studio, Adam toils away at the damp and dusty controls, crafting hard-edged sounds that blend hardstyle, dubstep, riddim, tearout, and hard techno.
Under his self-founded imprint ELECTROLABEL.COM (launched in 2008), he’s released numerous records that reflect his evolution into a genre-defying powerhouse. Unchained by genre as long as it’s brutal he gives fans of angry EDM what they crave: oscillators dripping with distortion, epic builds, and catchy melodies in perfect dose.
Today, 4D4M is recognized for his unstoppable bass-driven energy and aesthetics rooted in dystopian futurism – delivering music that’s melodic yet merciless. First recognized for his global dance hit TAKING OVER RAWSTYLE, he has worked his tracks for decades to bring the best to life – and into the bass-bins of soundsystems worldwide. Adam’s 2024 release I FEEL NOTHING highlighted his ambition to push angry EDM past its limits, adding metal and frenchcore elements for a sensory onslaught. Releases like HOLD ONTO have become a festival staple and favorite of EDM DJs adding brutally punchy dubstep drops for their sets.
Equally powerful are his music videos on YouTube, which bring his cyberpunk aesthetic to life with high-contrast visuals, industrial-futuristic environments, and glitchy dystopian storytelling. Tracks like TAKING OVER RAWSTYLE and BASS WAR have drawn tens of thousands of views, praised for both their production value and their ability to translate 4D4M’s sonic brutality into cinematic form. These videos are quickly gaining traction, positioning him as not only a producer but also a storyteller with a complete creative vision.
4D4M continues building frontier-busting soundscapes for “hardstyle warriors of bass” – a phrase he uses to describe his devoted following. His latest single, “CAN’T LET U GO”, is out now and merges emotional future bass and vocal duets with explosive dubstep, rawstyle, and euphoric hardstyle drops. In September 2025, 4D4M crossed 1.5 million global streams, marking a defining milestone in his rise.
